DIP switch is widely used in data processing, communication, remote control, anti-theft automatic alarm system, air shower, air conditioning control panel, train model and other products that require manual programming.
There are two pins on the upper and lower sides of the back of each key of the DIP switch. If you dial it to the ON side, the upper and lower pins will be connected; otherwise, it will be disconnected. These four keys are independent and unrelated to each other. Such components are mostly used for binary encoding.
